Breeding Guppies

Hi, I seem to be having truble with my guppies. They won't breed. Isn't that dumb? I can breed clowns and not guppies. Too strange. Anyways, I don't really get the problem, they are the right gae and in the condition that the little blurb says. They are all gaining health every day (about 1 point every other day each) and well I don't get it. Can someone tell me what their tank set up is? Plants, Access, light, water, size and food please. Thanks. this is so strange.
