: Yes. Exactly! My thoughts exactly...

: I bred two different color strains and wound up with a peduncle the color of one of the strains and the tail the color of the other strain... It should work in reverse (maybe)... I did try to get back to the originals from those offspring but was unsuccessful.

: I also noticed that the colored penduncle was a much deeper color than the original tail color of the parent... as though it had been compressed.
