: Well, although my stacking theory could have 'some' validity (somehow) we can forget it. :0 I just had the most incredible breeding that threw me completely out of the water.
: I was trying to test a pure white Tuxedo cross with a (what I thought was) a pure dark orange Cobra and on the second generation wound up with a batch of 11 males and 4 females. I had seven different colorations in those males... I was (and still am) quite stunned at the results.
: However, one of the fishies could only be described as "Peach".
: "Peach" seems to be a pink and lemon yellow blend.
: I tried to purify "Peach" and am having greater than ordinary difficulties in doing so. :0
: "Peach" actually has Pink children... (I had NO pink before and those initial fish were quite inbred.)
: But, my apologies for my apparently erroneous hypothesis.
: These guppies are bitchin'! ;) :0
I tried to email you but it bounced back. I wanted to let you know that I can put up a page devoted to your theories, maybe not the stacking one if you no longer think it's valid, but the sex-linked gene for body type is interesting. Email me if you are interested.
P.S. That goes for anyone who wants to post. This site is devoted to theories, proved or otherwise.
