If they look alike you may have 2 females. You mentioned that you know one is a male and a female, but that they both look alike. In guppies, males and females look very different.
Females have normal shaped fins are only one color. They have a dark spot on their belly near where the tail starts. This is called the "gravid spot".
Males, on the other hand, exhibit an incredibly wide range in color and fin shape. The tail and the dorsal fin can be short or long and flowing. Typically, they also display a lot of color. On many males, the body also displays different colors. The one exception to this is the true "wild guppy" which in many cases has very little coloration.
