Thank you for the applause ::taking bow and blushing:: Striving for bright, clear, intense colors is a holdover from my real world experiences. Matching tail and dorsal is also a real world standard that I try to achieve.

Not quite sure just what your mental picture of "ticking" is (small dots evenly distributed?) but I have strains of albino mosaic and cobra that I call "White Tiger". The stripes are black and tail color is gray. This trait also shows up in red and yellow albino strains, the results are striking. (In mosaics this stiping can appear as a color (red, orange) and creates the effect of what I am calling for the present "tri-color".) This trait can be isolated and fixed though I find cobras will occasionally throw a small percentage of clear or overlay males. I have been working with yellow and red albino cobras lately and the body markings show up red/blue stippled on my monitor. The 3/4 month old males are very colorful but when matured the colors spread out and loose some punch. IMHO this is caused by AZ distributing the colors over a larger area but I still select for "colorful" when culling.
