Once again, thank you Mirra for your kind words. However, your powers of observaton continue to inspire me more. The black markings phenotype in albinos appeared several weeks ago in a now forgotten strain I was working on. I filed the males and two sisters away in a "well lookie there, interesting" file to work later and forgot about them. After you commented on the male I submitted to the gallery I hauled them out of storage and took another look. With some work I was able to fix both cobra (tiger) and mosaic (leopard) strains and have been very pleased with the results created when they are used as out-cross strains with yellow or red albino strains. The black ticking displays as dark red or purple as well as black in the red/yellow hybrids and can be stabilized. I would have missed out on the current group of "colorful" albino strains I am now working with. Thanks for noticing!

: Well, I came, I saw, I was thoroughly impressed!
: Don, ya did it again, man. An albino fish with full melanin expression in the tail pattern. WOW The white tiger, quite officially, RULES.
: I suppose that proves that tail pattern melanism is completely independent of color amelanism in albinoes. Not 100% realistic for real fish, perhaps, but lovely still the same!
: WTG, Don!
