Don, I really have to thank you for the great method of breeding .
It's made AZ come alive for me again. Once again I'm manically breeding. ;)
Anyhow, I was reviewing some of the posts and saw your mention of 'heterozygous'. You may know more than I do on this subject and I've only been trying, at this point, to isolate all variations on the Tuxedos (quite successfully). I've found that what I used to think was impossible to isolate as pure indeed was able to be isolated. I had a very difficult time isolating as pure the "Glacier" strain (Sky Blue x Silver), but I did manage to do it.
Your advice about just keep trying with different pairs was sage. :)
I think I may have managed to find a couple more colors of Tux too. Nothing fancy, just a modified Glacier and one other one.
And if you are reading this Clarissa I *finally* got the Sky Blue Tux! Hehehe. :) I felt so fulfilled. :)
Now... A couple questions for you Don. Which strain would be easiest for me to work on next? ...and, Which strain yields the purples?
(((If this modified breeding is a 'bug' in the program they most certainly shouldn't fix it!!! It's MUCH more fun this way. :)))
(((I'm hoping we get that new guppy strain soon too! :) JEVAN WANTS IT AquaZone folks you MUST give it to him!!!! :))))
