It's funny you mentioned sex linking, because throughout my research I could never get away from the fact that the females I used could always have been Aa. I was never able to eliminate that as a possibility. I guess it's possible that tail patterns are entirely up to the male. I think that is going to be my next "project". I'm going to breed and breed and breed (well, not me actually) until I can prove or disprove that.
I think a 'confirmed' genetics page is a very good idea. Any ideas on what the 'confirmation test' would be?
I would think that there would have to be at least one other person who duplicates another's work and arrives at the same conclusion. That could be difficult given the fact that fish are supposed to stay with their owners.
